Scam Snitcher
(Personal Project)

This is one of my early projects when working on UX Design.
The task was simple, what could be a great app to have for modern users that can positively benefit them? I decided on doing a mobile application that focuses on reporting those who track down scammers like the local police for people who would like to report suspicious callers and/or automated voice mails. There have been several websites that helps users do just that, but not many apps on mobile devices, which is what I plan on fixing.
User Persona

I've had more than a DOZEN scam calls and automated voice messages that I want to mute my phone and find out a way to stop calling my number. Like, how did they even get my number in the first place? Regardless, I planned out the main flow of how a user can block a scammer's number. I want the user to have the power to report any suspicious calls; even though several cellular services do that for them.

For this project, I've done it on Adobe XD, to get a clear understanding on how I would use it in the workspace. While I have not used much of this software, it allowed me to try out the features it offered to present a workflow of the whole app, as well as the presentation itself.
High-Fidelity Map

The purpose of this app is to give people the opportunity to help create a much safer and less distracting experience in smartphones. This could also help decrease the number of scam calls by a massive amount. With phone companies that already have features on blocking numbers, it’s also important for them to have a feature that reports on scammers, which is what “Scam Snitcher” was built to do. If people despise scam calls, shouldn’t they have the right to do something about it and stop the scammers from an increase amount of scams in the near future?
